Your payment will be applied on the day you scheduled it for. If your payment is scheduled for the 29th, 30th or 31st and the month doesn’t have that many days, we’ll apply it on the last day of the scheduled month.
For example, if your monthly payment is normally applied on the 30th day of the month, your February payment will be applied on Feb. 28 because February has fewer than 30 days.

Log in to Ally Auto at least 4 business days before your due date and select your vehicle from your Snapshot.
Select Cancel Direct Pay from the top right of your vehicle details page and follow the directions.
You can also contact us to stop or suspend Direct Pay. This will cancel all future payments. You'll need to re-enroll if you want to have Direct Pay in the future. Note: If your payment is already in process, you will be unable to cancel Direct Pay.

Auto Pay is an online payment option which lets you automatically withdraw monthly payments from your designated checking or savings account on the same day each month at no charge.

Set up Auto Pay for each of your vehicles if you have more than one

Bank account information does not have to be in the name of the customer as long as the customer is an authorized user of the bank account being used.

Go online and view or change your Auto Pay payment amount or payment date – up to 10 days past your original due date. Note: This will not change your due date, and late charges may apply

Select your statement preference and enroll in online billing statements to receive monthly email notifications

View your future monthly deductions from Transactions on your Vehicle Details page

We'll send you an email when your payments are applied or to confirm any changes you made to your Auto Pay payment date, amount, or bank account
Direct Pay is also an automatic payment program without a charge.

Payments are automatically withdrawn from your checking or savings account on your due date only when an amount is due

Bank account information must be in the name of the customer only.
You won't receive paper or online monthly billing statements, but if you have an online profile you can view payments that have been applied to your account in the Transactions section of your Vehicle Details by selecting Payment. Note: You won't be able to view pending payments for future monthly deductions

For Vehicle Payments:
Log in and select your vehicle, then Payments, then Enroll in Auto Pay.
Once you’re enrolled, the menu item will change to Edit Auto Pay. Go there to make changes, or to cancel Auto Pay at any time. You can cancel your Auto Pay payment any time before 3 pm ET on the scheduled payment date, as long as you’re the person who scheduled it.
Keep in mind: if you're already enrolled in Direct Pay, you must cancel it before enrolling in Auto Pay.
For Ally Credit Cards:
On the web: Log in , select your credit card account, select Payments, then Set Up Autopay.
On our app: Log in, select your credit card, then Menu, Payments, then Enroll in Autopay
Once autopay’s set up, Enroll in Autopay changes to Manage Autopay. Go there to make changes, or to cancel Autopay at any time.
For Home Loans:
Log in , select your home account, then select Make a Payment. From there, you can turn Autopay on. Once activated, you can set up your payment preferences, edit, or stop Autopay at any time.

The easiest way to make a payment is to log in , find your vehicle account in your Snapshot, and select Make a Payment—you can pay using your checking or savings account. You can also select Payments to enroll in Auto Pay.
Pay using a debit card
You can make a one-time online debit card payment through CheckFreePay . You'll need to have your vehicle account number, your debit card number, and your ZIP code on hand. Keep in mind: CheckFreePay is a third party that charges a $3.75 fee for its payment services, which is in addition to your payment amount.
Additional or early payments
You can make additional or early payments, however, we can't accept them from Direct Pay customers. If you'd like to make extra payments online, you'll need to cancel Direct Pay and enroll in Auto Pay. Or, give us a call at 1-888-925-2559 .
Paying off your vehicle
In most cases, you can pay off your financed vehicle online. Log in , choose the vehicle from your Snapshot, then select Payments, then View Payoff Quote. If you leased your vehicle, you’ll want to choose Lease-End Options. Follow the instructions to view your estimate and pay off your vehicle.
