We offer $0, $100, and $200 deductible options, plus a $100 Disappearing Deductible feature. If you select the $100 Disappearing Deductible option, your deductible will be waived if you return to the dealer where you purchased your Ally Premier Protection contract for covered repairs. We also offer a $500 deductible on select luxury vehicles. Availability depends on your dealership, vehicle, and contract.
-
The cost depends on factors like the make and model, vehicle condition, deductible, and the contract coverage level selected. Your dealer can provide you with pricing options.

Give us a call at 1-800-631-5590 to cancel your contract. You can receive a full refund if you haven’t made any claims and cancel within 60 days of the start of your contract. Otherwise, your refund amount will be based on days or miles of coverage remaining, whichever is least. There may also be a $50 administration fee.
Paid claims prior to cancelation will be deducted from refunds where applicable or required by state regulation or law. Refer to the cancelation terms of your Ally Premier Protection contract for more info.

The term begins at the time you purchase the contract and at the current odometer reading at the time of purchase. For example, a 24,000-mile/24-month contract purchased for a vehicle with 40,000 miles will end when the odometer reaches 64,000 miles or 2 years after the contract began, whichever comes first.
If you purchase the Powertrain Wrap or Certified Pre-owned (In-Service Date) coverage, the term begins at the vehicle’s original in-service date and 0 miles. It ends when you reach your term or mileage limit, whichever comes first.
-
It covers most cars, light-duty trucks, SUVs and crossovers. Coverage availability is determined partly by your vehicle’s age and mileage. Talk with your dealer about options based on your specific vehicle.
-
You can transfer your vehicle service contract to the new owner, or you can cancel the remainder of the vehicle service contract for a prorated refund. An administrative fee may apply.

You can cancel your existing coverage and purchase a new contract any time during the manufacturer's New Vehicle Limited Warranty.
After the warranty has expired, you may be eligible to purchase an additional contract if your existing Ally Premier Protection vehicle service contract is still valid.
Contact your local dealer to see if your vehicle is eligible.

In most cases, you can finance Ally Premier Protection with your monthly vehicle payments. Your dealer can help add your vehicle service contract in.
You can also finance Ally Premier Protection outside your monthly vehicle payments. We’ve teamed up with a company called Service Payment Plan to offer interest-free 12- 18- or 24-month payment plans. To learn more about these options, ask a participating dealer.

With Ally Premier Protection, the repair facility manages the paperwork and the claim payment. You're only responsible for paying your deductible, if applicable. If you paid for repairs, please call us at 1-800-631-5590 to request reimbursement.

When you buy a vehicle service contract, you transfer the risk of future repair costs to a company, trusting them to pay for covered repairs. You should be sure the company backing your contract will cover claims when you need them.
-
After the New Vehicle Limited Warranty expires, the Powertrain Limited Warranty will protect only the powertrain components of your vehicle, not necessarily parts like cooling system components, steering components, electrical or suspension components.
A vehicle service contract offers more comprehensive coverage and can decrease your financial exposure to these repair costs.
-
If you plan to keep your vehicle beyond the term of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, a vehicle service contract could help you avoid unexpected and potentially costly repair bills in the event of a breakdown.
-
Vehicle service contracts are a cost-effective answer for mechanical breakdown coverage and other services after the expiration of the manufacturer's warranty.
A vehicle service contract will pay the cost of covered vehicle repairs and some offer additional benefits such as towing, roadside assistance, rental car and trip interruption.
Customers and dealers also often refer to vehicle service contracts as "mechanical service agreements," "extended service contracts" and "extended warranties."
